Why is this called Santander?
The inspiration for this gift comes from the ‘Le Fermier’ spices. Le Fermier (meaning farmer in french) is a boutique brand of spices made right here in Melbourne by a Michelin starred chef. Not only are these hand blended, the original spices are handpicked, dried and mixed together to create the perfect balanced flavour pairings. One of our favourites is the “Basque” blend which is perfect with meat, fish and veggies making it super versatile and something quick and easy to hand to turn an everyday meal into a master piece. But why the name Santander…? It’s a stunning town on the northern coast of Spain not far from Basque country.
